Information needed for Computer Synthesis of Gamakam
Qualitative description of the Gamakam is not adequate
Quantitative parameters are required such as:
Number of oscillations (to a great extent depending upon the duration of the note)
Durations of steady parts within the Gamakam
Anchoring point (lower or higher note)
Pitches of the end points of oscillation
Smoothness - transit durations between notes
