Open the file and read HELP about using it. Briefly, enter plain notation in the top window, select duration and raagam and click 'Convert' to get the gamakam added notation in the bottom window with a header like 'M29T32~' in the beginning. Click the 'Open output' button between the input and output windows. This will open gka83.htm with the output loaded, Melam and Durations set and ready to play. If the output notation size is more than permissible for query string in your system, you get a warning and gka83.htm will not open. You can then copy and paste the output in gka83, set Melam and Duration and play.(The Melam number and duration will be seen at the start of the output in 'M29T32~' format. You can also remove the "~" enclose the directive in a pair of cury brackets "{ }" and play. This will automatically set the Melam and duration).
